Does traveling through the sky fascinate you? How about traveling through space? If so, you should consider a career in flight.

The flight business has two major areas: air travel and space travel. While the air business is already big, the private space travel arena is just starting to pick up. A few places to start your job search include:

  • Airlines, both large and small
  • Charter jet companies
  • Private space travel companies
  • NASA
  • Flight tracking and booking companies

You may also be interested in working with the companies that build the parts for the airplanes and spaceships.

Positions in these companies vary, from pilots and engineers to operations and administrative positions. You’ll need a bachelor’s degree for a lot of these positions (and in some cases, specialized training).
