Some of Betaworks’ better known products include Chartbeat, Digg, Instapaper, Bitly, and Socialflow. In addition to owning these products, Betaworks makes occasional seed investments. Some of the more notable ones include Airbnb, Braintree, Kickstarter, Pinterest, Rapgenius, Tumblr and Twitter. Betaworks readily admits that the company may seem “to be a loose organization of people that do many things,” but it all comes back to digital media.
