This is it! We’re finally done revisiting hundreds of companies and organizations and their entry level jobs. One key takeaway that I’ve discovered is that there are still a lot of companies out there that are hiring entry level talent; however, the non-profit sector seems to be hit much harder by the economic downturn. Hopefully this series of posts has helped you with your job search. Here are links to the rest of the posts: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 1 of non-profits, Part 2 of non-profits, and Part 3 of non-profits.
The Museum of Modern Art: MoMA hasn’t updated their Jobs page in 2 months; however, a couple of the jobs seem perfect for new grads.
United States Holocaust Memorial Museum: They don’t seem to be hiring right now.
Computers for Youth: There are a couple of teaching positions that appear to be entry level.
Cape Cod Commercial Hook Fishermen’s Association: Keep fishing! They’re not hiring right now.
StoryCorps: There’s a Door-to-Door Facilitator position available that looks fascinating.
Men’s Health Network: Men’s health is still important, but MHN isn’t hiring.
National Braille Press: It doesn’t look like they have any jobs available.
Carnegie Hall: Jobs at Carnegie Hall that many interest new college grads include Associate Editor, Program Coordinator, and Technical Analyst.
ProCon.org: It looks like ProCon.org is con when it comes to hiring right now.
Chill: They’re right in the middle of their prime-time, so I doubt that Chill is hiring.
U.S. Soccer Foundation: Their team is fully staffed at the moment.
The Bridgespan Group: The recruiting period for their Associate Consultant positions has already passed.
Street Sense: Although they’re always helping the homeless when it comes to employment, they’re not hiring right now.
Independent Diplomat: There are no entry level jobs available with ID right now.
Save the Children: There are 40 jobs available with Save the Children, but only a couple of them look suitable for new grads.
World Cocoa Foundation: They don’t have job listings, so you’ll have to contact them to find out more.
Citizens Advice Bureau: There are a ton of jobs available with Citizens Advice Bureau, and many of them appear to be entry level.
Rainforest Alliance: Rainforest Alliance has jobs all over the world, and many of them are perfect for new grads.
Academy for Educational Development: None of AED’s current job postings look like they’re entry level.
Harlem Success Academy: There appear to be entry level jobs available in Teaching, Administration, and Student Support Services.
Global Impact: There’s one job in Software Development available and another as a Members Associate.
That’s it! New companies tomorrow!
