Merry Christmas Eve! We’re going to continue revisiting companies that we’ve featured in the past today, but tomorrow we’ll take a break for a special Christmas themed post. In case you missed them, here are links to Part 1 and Part 2 of our end of the year recap.
NFL Teams: The Cincinnati Bengals are hiring a Sales Executive, the San Francisco 49ers are looking for Account Executives in Ticket Services and Ticket Sales, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking for a Stadium Club Sales Representative. These aren’t by definition entry level jobs, but they don’t require much experience.
BAE Systems: BAE Systems has a new job search site that allows you to search for jobs for new college grads. There are hundreds of results from all over the country, so have at it.
Facebook: Everybody’s favorite social networking site continues to grow, and they keep hiring top entry level talent. They have quite a few job openings for new grads, although most require strong technical skills.
Fox News: If you’re taking a “fair and balanced” approach to your job search, then you’ll appreciate that Fox News is looking for a Yield Analyst, a Web Page Producer, a Quality Assurance Analyst, an Ad Traffic Coordinator, a Staff Accountant, a Digital Business Development Coordinator, and has even more entry level opportunities available.
ESPN: They still have some major usability issues with their Jobs site, and it’s not clear how to get into their Production Assistant Training program; however, there are 69 job openings and some of them can certainly be considered entry level. One example is the Statistics Associate I position.
Wegmans: Gotta start in retail if you want to make it to the top at Wegmans.
ProFlowers: ProFlowers has job opportunities for new college grads that include Production Scheduler, Product Photographer, Customer Service Associate, and Search Engine Marketing Manager.
OpenTable: Reserve a job for yourself with OpenTable as a Field Operations Specialist, Accounts Receivable Coordinator, or Sales Representative.
eHarmony: The only job with eHarmony that might be compatible with new grads is a UK based Marketing Communications Writer position.
Tiffany & Co.: Nothing at Tiffany stands out as a great entry level opportunity, but they do have ~50 jobs for you to browse.
Bliss: A job in Customer Service is the only way that you can find your Bliss.
Current: The online tv station is very entry level friendly and has a number of jobs listed, but just make sure that ManBearPig doesn’t get you.
Dash: Dash has been laying off, which explains why they don’t have any jobs listed right now.
Honda R&D: Despite posting their first loss in a long time, Honda’s R&D arm is still hiring lots of Engineering grads.
Nutricate: They probably don’t publish it on receipts, but Nutricate is hiring software developers.
Bag Borrow or Steal: There are some Customer Care jobs, but that’s it.
Tech Image: Don’t mess around looking for a job listing, they’re more than willing to speak with new grads who have an interest in PR.
Animal Replacement Technologies: Submit a resume and see what happens. They don’t have any job listings.
Navigant Consulting: If Navigant isn’t visiting your campus, use their North American Campus Portal to search for jobs (there are quite a few).
LeapFrog: There’s one Software Engineer position with this educational toy company. Other than that everything is at the Senior or Director level.
GotVMail: The most promising jobs for new grads are in SEO and Affiliate Management, but they require strong relevant knowledge.
CarMax: This nationwide car dealer does most of their recruiting on campus, but you can apply for their entry level hiring programs in IT, Accounting/Finance, or Strategy/Analysis by e-mail if they don’t visit your school.
NASA: Reading our original post is still the best way to navigate NASA’s hiring process – it’s pretty complicated.
AngelVision Technologies: The listings are exactly the same as when we first featured them.
Amerikal: Although they have specific job postings, they never change. I guess they’re always looking.
Draftfcb: Job listings on Draftfcb’s website are completely inconsistent – some are just a title, while others are quite in-depth. There may be a few opportunities for new grads, but most of their listings are higher level.
DigitalGlobe: There’s one Production Technician job, but that’s it.
Fog Creek Software: They always seem to be looking for Software Developers, and they look like an amazing place to work.
Carnegie Learning: If you have a passion for education, but don’t want to teach, you can go into Software Development or Inside Sales with Carnegie Learning.
Pi Media: Cold calling is the way to go if you want to work for Pi Media.
I can’t wait for Christmas! How about you?
