Gorilla Nation, no that’s not the same as Red Sox nation. It’s actually an online advertising sales representation company. Through partnerships with web publishers, Gorilla Nation manages to reach approximately 35% of the web audience. That’s 60 million unique visitors each month looking at ads on Gorilla Nation partner sites.

Web publishers need to make money. Ads may be annoying, but they are the reason you don’t have to pay to sit and watch YouTube videos for 3 hours. Internet advertising isn’t going anywhere, so why not learn to enjoy it? Gorilla Nation takes responsibility for a site’s entire ad inventory. They customize ad campaigns for their publishers, as well as developing unique sponsorship opportunities. Some of Gorilla Nation’s top clients include: Teen Hollywood, Pink is the New Blog, MovieWeb, JoBlo, Marvel, FHM Online, Playboy, HipHopDX, She Knows, Cooks.com, The Huffington Post, and Style Hive. Gorilla Nation’s customized approach allows publishers to make the most of their traffic, but it also provides much more interesting advertising to end users. This also works out well for advertisers, who get more impact from their media buys.

Gorilla Nation is another fast growing company. The past 3 years have been huge for them, with over 1,000% in revenue growth (up to $28.4 million). They currently have 85 employees, but from the looks of their Careers section of their website they want to add to that. They’re hiring. And according to CNN this company has sex appeal.

They currently have 4 positions at the entry-level which appear to be located in Los Angeles, CA.

Associate Sales Planner – Manages proposals, presentations, and ad campaign management functions.
Recruiting Coordinator – Reviews resumes, screens candidates, and posts jobs. Thanks One Day, One Job for sending them awesome applicants.
Production Designer – Creates ads, micro-sites, backgrounds, and NAV reskins (I have no idea what that is). Should probably be proficient in Flash, HTML, and CSS.
Online Ad Trafficker – Supports the ad sales team to maximize revenue and enhance client relationships.

If these jobs sound like fun to you, send your awesome cover letter and resume to humanresources@gorillanation.com.

One response to “Gorilla Nation Media”

  1. I definitely like the sound of this and hope that I get to be part of that team if luck be on my
side. Working through the web seems to be one of the best yet very tricky kind of a job since one
needs to convince the customer through it.
    I love it.
